An hour of recording becomes text in about a minute, on the phone itself. Lectures, interviews, meetings — nothing is uploaded, and it works in airplane mode.
Hours of recording, written out on the phone itself.
Rechka takes a file you already have — a lecture, an interview, a meeting, a voice memo — and writes it out in full, from the first minute to the last. Nothing is uploaded and nothing waits in a queue: the recognition runs on the iPhone, so a private conversation stays a private conversation.
1. Bring a recording — from Files, from Photos, from the share sheet of any app, or record one right now. 2. Wait. An hour of audio is usually a matter of about a minute on a recent iPhone. 3. Read it in the player: the phrase being spoken is highlighted, and a tap on any phrase moves the sound to that spot.
There is no server, no account and no sign-in. The app goes online once, so the system can fetch the recognition model, and after that it works in airplane mode. The audio never leaves the phone.
